Orders placed via the vending machine also go through your approval processes. You can set up approval requirements for orders above a certain value or for specific product categories. The dual-control principle is maintained without slowing down the process at the vending machine.

Withdrawals from the vending machine, catalog orders, and special purchases are all consolidated into a single report. The report includes drill-down options by location, cost center, and product category. This way, you can finally see what’s being withdrawn and reordered, and where.

You can customize the account assignment through the settings menu of an external ordering system. This ensures that each order from a goods issue system is automatically assigned the correct account assignment value, which can optionally be supplemented with additional account assignment information during the approval process.

There are two options for assigning general ledger accounts: With automatic assignment, the general ledger account is assigned at the item level via automatic general ledger mapping. Alternatively, a specific general ledger account can be selected manually from a list during the approval process.

By assigning the account assignment and general ledger account directly at the dispensing cabinet, all posting information is entered correctly into the system from the very beginning. This eliminates the need for manual retroactive entry and prevents account assignment errors in accounting.
