Under the motto "Pack ma's digital", the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce is working with digital experts to support small and medium-sized companies in their digital transformation. Netzwerk Industrie RuhrOst e. V. (NIRO), founded in 2006, connects companies in the mechanical engineering, metal and industrial electronics sectors in the Ruhr East region. Around 80 member companies currently benefit from the extensive tangible and intangible advantages in the three areas of opportunity "Sharing knowledge", "Working together" and "Buying together". NIRO is part of the BMWK's "go-cluster" initiative and has the silver label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI).

onepower is a purchasing pool through which companies of all kinds can use high-performance framework agreements with various partners. This purchasing pool is organized by byNIRO GmbH, which, as a subsidiary of Netzwerk Industrie RuhrOst e. V., also enables non-members of the network to benefit from joint purchasing.
