We are simple system
We are passionate about purchasing. Our strength lies in modern and sustainable processes. Cooperation with our customers is always fair, transparent, honest and personal. Always at eye level for over 25 years.
What are we doing?
We develop, maintain and expand our e-procurement platform to support companies (primarily in the German SME sector) in the digitalization and automation of their purchasing processes.
What is important to us?
As an employer, we attach great importance to a positive working culture, flexibility and the development of our employees. Often heard, we really live it.
What are we looking for?
If you are interested in working for a solid and digitally-savvy medium-sized player in a company that cares about its employees and strives for positive change, then you've come to the right place!
Who better to speak for us than our employees:
-
Lukas Woycieszack, Senior eConsultant
Customer Acquisition, Hamburg -
Super fast and professional. I could already tell from the process that S2 is digitally positioned.
-
Firstly, because I "grew up" in B2B e-procurement and secondly, because the S2 Revenue per FTE meant stability for me.
-
Digitalization is still not sufficiently present in many companies. Particularly in SMEs, new software solutions are often seen as a "waste of money" - and this is exactly where my work and challenge begins. To ensure that the enthusiasm for digitalization is not only emotional, but also rational.
-
We are incredibly diverse. Everyone has their own way of interacting with customers. The fundamental trust in each team member is unique to me.
-
We are fast and dynamic. Ideas are welcome. Things that are implemented come from the entire team. I felt this team spirit from minute one - and that's exactly why I feel so at home.
-
Sergio Nordmann, Customer Manager
Customer Development & Support, Munich -
The process was fast, authentic and streamlined. Everything was straightforward and direct.
-
The team dynamics convinced me. I also find the product and the area very interesting.
-
New solutions for new problems have to be found every day. This is challenging, but also exciting
-
The first thing I do in the morning is check my emails and support tickets. Then I look at my calendar and roughly plan what's coming up for the day. I'm most looking forward to the demo appointments where I show potential new customers our platform.
-
We have good communication and a great atmosphere. That makes a lot of things easier.
-
I get the opportunity to grow and develop further. At the same time, working together is great fun.
-
Najla Mergans, BI Data Analyst,
BI & Data Products, Munich -
The application process was honest, direct and quick. Both sides had the opportunity to get to know each other and I was able to find out what to expect.
-
What I particularly like about simple system is that they have a start-up mentality and use a very modern structure in the area of data processing.
-
In my current job, I see an ongoing challenge in constantly acquiring new skills and knowledge. As the technology and requirements in our industry are constantly evolving, it is crucial to stay up to date. This constant learning curve requires time and commitment as I need to ensure that I am aware of current trends and best practices.
-
Every colleague is incredibly fit and motivated. The collegial relationship within the team creates a pleasant working atmosphere in which respectful interaction is a top priority. I also love the international composition of the team, which gives me plenty of opportunity to speak English
-
simple system has set itself ambitious goals and these motivate me. The opportunity to grow together with my employer and to continuously develop my skills is particularly appealing to me. The prospect of actively participating in the realization of company goals and at the same time advancing my own professional development makes simple system an ideal employer for my individual ambitions and professional aspirations.
-
Felix Neher, Head of Product & UX,
Product & UX, Munich -
The application process was extremely efficient and professional. The conversations were on equal footing and left enough room for genuine mutual getting-to-know-you moments, both professionally and personally. What stood out most was the clear communication and speed: less than four weeks passed from the first contact to the job offer.
-
The role was a very strong match for my profile, particularly the opportunity to holistically shape and actively develop product and user experience. The deciding factor, however, was the overall impression from the conversations: an ambitious team, clear goals, fast decision-making, and the ability to create tangible impact through your own work. That combination convinced me.
-
The biggest challenge lies in balancing speed with sustainability: on one hand, we drive topics forward at high velocity; on the other, solutions need to be scalable and robust in the long run.
There's also the breadth of the role itself, spanning strategic product development, UX, and close collaboration with tech, business, and stakeholders. That requires clear prioritisation, sound decision-making, and the ability to bring different perspectives together.
It's precisely this combination of complexity, pace, and creative scope that makes the role especially appealing to me. -
My team is characterized by a high degree of ownership, strong professional expertise, and a very open, constructive way of working together. We are solution-oriented, give each other honest feedback, and pursue shared goals with a clear commitment to quality.
The combination of pragmatism and high standards means we move quickly without ever losing sight of the user perspective. -
My employer is a good fit for me because it offers an environment where taking ownership is encouraged and good ideas can have a real impact quickly. I particularly value the combination of entrepreneurial thinking, short decision-making paths, and a clear focus on product and users.
That aligns exactly with my own approach: not just managing products, but actively shaping and developing them.

Rade Zeljko Topalovic, Senior Customer Manager eProcurement, Growth & Sales Operations, Munich
-
Absolutely uncomplicated! I applied online and after a short time I received an invitation for an online interview. In several interviews online and on site, I was able to get a good idea of simple system and the company got to know me. A lot of attention was paid in advance to how well we would fit together and how well I would fit into the team. Communication was always clear and unambiguous.
-
I find simple system's working style exciting. Although it is a company that has been around for quite a long time, the processes, speeds and hierarchies are quite modern, fast-moving and experimental. A lot happens here very quickly, you are right in the middle of the action and it never gets boring. I can also learn a lot in this environment, which helps me in my personal growth.
-
I start my working day by starting my PC and getting an overview of my messages, emails and appointments. I then take my time to prepare for upcoming appointments, especially customer meetings or product demos, so that they are structured and targeted.
Between appointments, I work on strategic internal projects or analyze what has already worked well and where there is still potential for optimization. As there are always new ideas, approaches or processes to test and develop, my day-to-day work remains varied and exciting.
-
The best thing about my job is the freedom to contribute my own ideas and simply try them out. If I believe that something can move the company forward, I am given the space to implement it.
Working in a team is also super pleasant: communication is open, honest and uncomplicated. We exchange ideas, develop ideas together and support each other. It is precisely this mix that makes the job particularly exciting and varied for me.
-
Before the simple system, I had little to do with the topic of "purchasing". As a career changer, there are a lot of things I take for granted that I still have to get to know and technical terms that initially only leave me with question marks on my face.
But it is precisely this introduction that is made very easy. My colleagues are very patient teachers and training partners.
-
I felt at home in the team from minute 1. My colleagues are super open, warm and "real". Nobody has to pretend or mince their words.
I was also taken by the hand and was always able to approach everyone with the millions of questions I asked at the beginning.
-
I am uncomplicated, enjoy variety and love it when things "just work". Simple system offers exactly that and also fulfills many of my other personal values. The interaction with each other is super pleasant and I can live out my working style and my way of working exactly as I see fit. I have the opportunity to try out lots of things and reach the right goal bit by bit.
