The solution
Quick and easy introduction of the simple system Cockpit - a standardised interface between SAP and simple system.
The platform caught the attention of our purchasing manager in 2016, whereupon we registered with simple system. The integration into our SAP ERP® followed in February 2017. We were immediately impressed by the clear mapping of the procurement process in the simple system Cockpit®. Our approvers check individual processes there and then release the orders. Around 39 employees currently use the platform. We use catalogues from almost 30 suppliers to cover our requirements. We save frequently required products in the favourites list and have them ready to hand the next time we place an order."

Since then, the manual effort involved in entering and post-processing orders, goods receipt and invoice verification has been eliminated. Over 90% of the orders placed via the platform would not be available in our SAP ERP®.
