"When we were looking for an eProcurement solution, we had an extensive specification sheet with special technical requirements. As an established marketplace, only simple system was able to offer us customized solutions, for example for various account assignments or interfaces to SAP. In addition, the majority of our suppliers were already active on the platform and we were able to continue our business relationships seamlessly. The result

One to two people per department, a total of almost 30 active users at KTR, are currently authorized to cover their needs independently via the platform. Only rights management and monitoring are still handled by the purchasing department. The rest is completely autonomous; every order is automatically created as a copy in the ERP. The ordering process has been streamlined in such a way that the purchasing department saves a lot of time on administrative work. "This freed up resources for important tasks such as investments or supplier selection," says Trommer with satisfaction.
