The solution
Simple and fast connection of the ERP system to simple system with barcode scanners. DODUCO's purchasing department processes around 6,200 orders with around 17,000 order items per year across all plants. Around 1,400 orders with 5,000 - 6,000 order items are placed via simple system.
Fixed conditions have currently been agreed with 19 suppliers on the platform to cover the classic C-parts requirements.

Today, DODUCO works in a fully automated process from goods search to invoicing: The approximately 250 SAP users are directed from the ERP directly to simple system to fill their shopping cart. This is transferred to SAP and saved there. Relevant data such as cost center, account assignment and supplier number are included and the stored approval process is triggered in the background. The approved order is then transferred directly to simple system and then sent to the supplier. By introducing simple system, DODUCO benefits from the following advantages:
